The Burke Varsity provided a gritty effort yet came up short in their quest for a Section 9 title. The Crusaders' explosive speed was too much for the Eagles resulting in a 7-2 loss.
Despite the setback, the Eagles provided a game effort resulting in an exciting final. Hats off to both teams and good luck to the Crusaders as they battle for a state championship.
Notes. There will be a spring clinic on Wednesday nights-(8-9pm)-beginning in May for approximately 6 weeks.. Cost will be determined by the number of players that sign up. ALL varsity/JV/new players are welcome to sign on.
Usa insurance is necessary ( travel players should have it)--if not--an extra $25.00 insurance fee will be needed. The format for the clinic will be drills followed by a scrimmage. The idea is to continue building team unity-keep players skating and improve their skills--get an idea of next year's team. The clinic is not mandatory.
