02/21/2008-- Two early goals propelled the Burke Varsity to a 4-0 whitewash of O'Neill to clinch the Sect 9 D2 Championship.With the win the Eagles earned the right to represent Section 9 in the state regional playoffs on March 1st at IceTime.
The win, which improves Burke to 16-4-2 on the season, also sets up a final Section 9 game vs arch rival Monroe; Sunday 6:45pm at Ice Time.

Added Note: The Jv squad led by Dillon Dolanski defeated NFA 3-2 in the rubber match of their three game series.
