01/20/09Despite the Eagles out-shooting Scarsdale 16-2 in the first period and 28 to 13 overall , the Burke varsity limped home with a second place finish; final score Scarsdale 4 Burke 3.
Jason Healey (1) , Tommy Mahoney (1) , and Richard Hudzik (1) provided the offense in the loss.
On Saturday Jason Healey (2/2), Mark Woinicki (2/1), and Chris Reinfried (1/3) spearheaded the attack as the Varsity moved to the finals with a 5-1 victory over Bethlehem.The defense was lead by Danny Kelly who with Jason Healey were voted to the ALL-Tournament Team.
