Off-ice practices will continue throughout October with cycling and spinning for fitness beginning in three weeks.
The last two seasons have been very sucessful. Pre-season conditioning and off-ice training has played a big roll in the team's accomplishments. With the graduation of nine seniors the opportunities and challenges of this year's team will be substantial.
Alumni Notes:
- Goaltender Dane Wakefield is off to nice start with the Niagra University Club Team. Dane's impressive pre-season earned him his first start of the year -- not bad for a freshman. Check out the team's web page http://www.nuachahockey.com/index.php.
Dane's performance last year was outstanding as he helped lead the Burke Catholic Eagles to their first regional championship and first trip to the state final four.
