Just when it seemed like the Burke Varsity would escape with a league victory , NFA scored a late goal to set up an exciting overtime period and gain a 2-2 tie. Credit both teams with fast paced end to end action - and some excellent goaltending- in the extra stanza to preserve the tie.

Goaltender Mike Beck stopped 16 shots on net in regulation and one outstanding save in overtime; rambling outside his net to keep the Eagles in the game.

The Burke boys attacked during the overtime, playing their best hockey of the night, yet could not net the winner.

The team has struggled since their battle against Monroe and must look to find their game down the stretch.
